At Bessa, I joined the marketing team with the main objective of generating qualified leads through digital campaigns (Facebook Ads, email marketing, and inbound campaigns). I worked on optimizing our conversion funnels and segmenting our lead database via Hubspot and Brevo, based on the customer journey and lead maturity.
I also contributed to strategic analysis tasks to support better marketing decisions:
• Benchmark of direct and indirect competitors in the Algerian real estate market (websites, social media presence, SEO, UX, acquisition strategies)
• Audit of Bessa’s website, with lead generation–oriented recommendations
• Study of content trends, brand positioning, and digital communication practices among local players
• Participation in the post-analysis of a previous lead generation campaign (KPIs, targeting, CTR, ROI), used internally – not attached for confidentiality reasons
➤ During my training, I conducted several practical exercises focused on marketing performance analysis, aiming to identify what works, what doesn't, and how to improve. These analyses particularly focused on conversion pages or social media posts to develop a data-driven digital strategy.
I have selected two examples to showcase my work:
In the first example, I analyzed a checkout page with a high abandonment rate. I proposed concrete solutions to optimize the page and reduce cart abandonment.
In the second example, I compared the performance of two posts based on impressions, likes, and engagement. I then formulated strategic recommendations to improve future publications: posting during peak hours, integrating engaging visuals, and using appropriate hashtags.
➤ In this section, I worked on analyzing and visually presenting marketing data from a simulated dashboard to facilitate performance interpretation. The goal was to translate raw data into actionable visual insights using pivot tables and clear, concise charts.
Starting from a raw data table distributed by hour and day of the week, I built a pivot table to group conversions by hour and day. Then, I visualized this data through a stacked chart, making it easier to compare performance across days and time slots.
This visualization helps quickly identify the most favorable times of the week for conversions, enabling informed decisions on marketing campaign planning.

In the first example, you can see the raw data table with key indicators by hour and day, which served as my basis.
In the second example, I transformed this data into a pivot table and then into a visual chart to compare conversions by day of the week and hour.
➤ Through practical exercises, I wrote various types of emails: newsletters, promotions, customer responses, apology emails with compensation, etc. I also learned to structure my messages with a clear objective, effective CTAs, and an appropriate tone.
The objective of these exercises was to develop communication skills by adapting tone, message, and marketing objectives to different contexts: promotional email, customer service message, response to a comment, etc. These contents were created for fictitious companies but replicate realistic situations encountered in the professional world.
I designed these texts with particular attention to clarity, customer orientation, and brand consistency. To optimize writing, I used ChatGPT as a support tool to rephrase certain ideas or gain efficiency. However, the concepts, message intentions, and structure are entirely my own.
I have selected two examples to showcase my work:
In the first example, I wrote an apology email sent by a fictitious gaming company following a communication error. The goal was to reassure customers, correct the information, and maintain a trustful relationship. I included a promotional offer as a goodwill gesture.
In the second example, I wrote three personalized responses to different customer comments for a fictitious coffee brand. These messages demonstrate my ability to adapt tone according to the type of feedback (positive, neutral, or negative) and to provide clear, considerate, and solution-oriented responses.
➤In this section, I worked on creating audience segments based on customer behaviors, preferences, and specific needs to personalize marketing campaigns. The goal was to optimize communication relevance by delivering the right message to the right audience.
To achieve this, I relied on a simulated data table containing detailed information about customer challenges (small spaces, cohabitation with pets), their favorite rooms, interest in in-store events, and sensitivity to promotions. Based on these criteria, I performed precise segmentation to identify audience groups such as:
Customers seeking solutions for small spaces;
Pet owners interested in pet-friendly content;
Customers active in-store and engaged in special offers.
Then, I utilized the free trial offered by Constant Contact, a professional email marketing tool. The exercise involved organizing contacts into targeted lists based on their preferred channel (email or SMS) and interaction history. This allowed me to simulate a concrete personalization strategy within a business-used interface.

In the first example, I performed manual segmentation from a marketing data table, identifying customer profiles based on their preferences, interest in events, or personalized content.
In the second example, I applied this segmentation in the Constant Contact platform by creating specific lists tailored to the desired communication types (email/SMS) and customer behavior.
